The Town of Burns Harbor has been upgrading roadway infrastructure over the past few years, and the Town has received grant approval from INDOT’s Community Crossing Matching Grant Program for roadway reconstruction or repaving this season that may affect your neighborhood.

The following areas are scheduled for construction this season:

• Oak Leaf Lane from Shadyside Road to McCool Road
• Old Porter Road from SR 149 to Babcock Road
• South Boo Road from Salt Creek Road to Carol Street
• Chesterfield Ave from South Boo Road to Harbor Way
• Harbor Way from South End to Chesterfield Ave
• Sherman Ave from Burns Blvd. to Harbor Way
• Castle Street from Haglund Road to North End
• Navajo Trail from SR 149 to West End

Once the schedule has been finalized, a mailer will be sent to the residents on each area with more information. You can stay up to date on the construction activity by opting in for SMS text message alerts as well.
