Launched in early April, residents and friends of Burns Harbor may now Follow the Town on Twitter via the handle @BurnsHarborIN or directly at www.twitter.com/burnsharborin.

Town officials hope to build from the success of the Town of Burns Harbor Facebook page (www.facebook.com/burnsharborindiana) and continually diversity its messaging to a wider audience in a cost-effective manner. Followers can expect tweets to include positive news and information, presented professionally and conveniently in real-time.

Town news and information will continue to be communicated through other traditional media for those not using social media.
