  • Simply to go BuyCrash.com and enter the following information: the state, the jurisdiction, and the date of the crash. You will be able to view, download, and print your report. Reports are usually $12.00 each and are available online immediately upon purchase.

  • Vehicle accident reports are $10.00, and case/incident reports are $5.00.

  • Any vehicle from another state that is being titled in Indiana, including vehicles owned by new Indiana residents and vehicles assigned to an Indiana resident on a manufacture's certificate of origin, must have a vehicle inspection. The inspection will confirm the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) of the vehicle. 

    Cost per VIN check: $5.00

  • In the event your vehicle has been towed by the Burns Harbor Police Department, a vehicle release form is required. You will need to come to the Burns Harbor Police Department located at 1240 N Boo Rd, and present photo identification showing that you are the titled and registered owner of the vehicle. If your vehicle was impounded for Driving While Suspended, you will need to have two valid drivers.
