Do I have to fence in my yard when I put up a pool?

If your pool is an above-ground pool; it needs to have a locking gate that goes around the whole perimeter of the pool with a locking ladder.  For in-ground pools, an automatic locking pool cover may be installed in lieu of a barrier, as provided for in 675 IAC CH 20.
